Become a Sandpiper Clinician

Do you want to become a Sandpiper Clinician? If so, you've come to the right page!

Sandpiper Australia welcomes rural clinicians to express their interest in purchasing a Sandpiper Bag and becoming a Sandpiper Clinician.

Preferences for bags will be given to clinicians who:

a) Are prepared to champion the role of Rural Generalists and other rural doctors to ‘value add’ in rural communities

b) Have completed training in pre-hospital care. This could include previous induction and work in a retrieval setting, involvement with SA RERN or through courses such as ACRRM’s PHEC for example.

c) If required, have support from their community to purchase and equip a bag to the standard Sandpiper Bag layout. This may involve clinicians forming relationships with local health services, ambulance services or a local charity for example.

Please complete the below ‘Expression of Interest’ form and email it to info@sandpiperaustralia.org

Please note, Sandpiper Australia will not be able to supply you with a Sandpiper Bag until we have received your signed Sandpiper Bag Agreement, found below, or on the Sandpiper Bag Governance and Agreement page.
